Nepal has been endowed with yet another beauty queen who is 4 feet 5 inches tall, Bipaswi Poudyal, and don’t worry, height is not an issue here.
Ten year old Bipaswi has become the reason behind the pride of many Nepalese as she, at such a small age, has been able to stand amongst the few who have represented Nepal in an international stage but wait for it, she not only represented Nepal but also brought back home the glory.
Yes, Bipaswi from Bishalnagar, Kathmandu won the title of the 11th Little Miss World, held in Antalya, Turkey on October 8, where she was accompanied by her parents and the country director of Nepal, Mr. Deependra Ratna Shakya.
Competing with 44 other contestants from different countries, Bipaswi’s victory did not just make her parents proud but has become a source of pride for all Nepalese. Bipaswi says she wants to become an astronaut some day.
Well, we would all like to wish her all the best for that and hope she keeps up the spirit and gives the country more chances to be prideful. Here is one for all the people who think that Nepal has missed the run, because you never know, when it might start catching up and looks like this sure could be the beginning of it.
